PROJECTS

 

Science Projects

  • Developed working science models from reusable and discarded materials. Detailed scientific explanation and videos of the following science projects have been posted on my website.

  • Energy Conversions: 1) Chemical to Mechanical energy
                                               2) Mechanical to Electrical energy
                                   3) Solar to Electrical energy.

 

Computer Science Projects

  • Programmer for the school team at BOTBALL Regional Tournament 2013. Developed responses to school weekly challenges for extra test credits. Won the challenges 6/8 times.

  •  Library File Management - This C++ program was developed as my school project work and uses file management, classes, switch cases and loops to imitate the administrative management in a school library.

  • Number System Conversion: a program for inter conversion between binary, octal, (developed using C++) hexadecimal and decimal number systems.                                               

  • Botball Codes: Includes programming details of school team’s robotics competition. (developed using C)

  • Airline Assistance (Under Construction): Utilizing File Management in C++ to imitate airline check-in, ticket booking, online payment and flight details.

  • Finch Soccer: Developed on an open source programming language and integrated  development environment- “Processing”. Program for a soccer game of 4 Finch Robots (2 controllers and 2 field  players). Project includes goal celebration.

 

Rural Education Project

Initiated SIAARS project (Spreading Internet Awareness Among Rural Students) under aegis Rotary International (Rajkot, India). Awareness program, to educate over 500 rural children, was carried out villages in villages of Kotda, Sangani, Nyara and Khambada in Gujarat, India.

 

AMATEUR INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

 

In the summer break of 2013, I visited Gujarat State Electricity Transmission Company 220kV Nyara substation in Rajkot, India. I attained first-hand information about energy distribution while witnessing it simultaneously. Assisting the engineers in the control room and recording the instrument notifications provided me a preview of the electrical and instrumentation industry sector. The highlights included the switch yard trip, safety briefing, control room experience and information sharing with other substations using transmission relays and SCADA system (Sequential Control And Data Acquisition).
